Pro and Postbiotics
We use heat-treated probiotics - aka postbiotics - to help improve gut health.

Bacillus coagulans is a lactic acid-producing bacteria that's been shown to improve gut health and strengthen the immune system, which may help reduce anxiety by reducing inflammation in the body and promoting a balanced gut microbiome.

L. rhamnosus and L. paracasei  are specific probiotic strains that can help regulate the immune system and reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, which are molecules that contribute to inflammation in the body.

L. rhamnosus and L. paracasei have also been shown to improve gut permeability, which means they help strengthen the barrier between the gut and the rest of the body, preventing harmful substances from leaking out into the bloodstream and contributing to inflammation. Prebiotics

We use inulin and NinjinFibre®: A sustainable prebiotic fibre source.

Prebiotic fibre helps shape the composition and activity of gut microbiota, promoting a healthy microbial balance within the intestine while also improving regularity, reducing constipation or diarrhea, and enhancing nutrient absorption.

NinjinFibre® is also a powerful source of flavonoids and polyphenols, which are bioactive compounds that play an important role in pet health.

These flavonoids and polyphenols have antioxidant properties and can help reduce inflammation, improve immune system function, and even promote better skin health.

Flavonoids and polyphenols may also aid digestion, support liver function, and reduce cholesterol levels.

Algimun algae-extract

Algimun is a blend of biologically active marine algal extracts, rich in polysaccharides, that strengthen innate and adaptive immune responses and enhance the barrier function of the intestinal mucosa.

Algal polysaccharides
reinforce the junction between intestinal cells leading to a less permeable intestinal wall. They can also help increase mucin secretion of the goblet cells leading to a more functional mucus layer. Polysaccharides help limit inflammation and control immune reactions as well as stimulate a compromised immune system.
