INGREDIENTS

Australian native fruit Quandong is an antioxidant powerhouse. It has the highest oxygen radical scavenging capacity (ORAC assay) among eight commercially grown native Australian fruits that include Kakadu plum, lemon aspen, Australian desert lime, Davidson’s plum, Finger lime (green and pink), Riberry, and blueberry. Vet Merliza explains why we use it in our Senior health chews.

Kakadu plum gained worldwide recognition when it was discovered that it is a fruit with the highest recorded levels of natural Vitamin C content in the world. Its powerful antioxidant properties is a key reason why Kakadu Plum is an ingredient in our Allrounder Balancer for Dogs and Cats, and our Cod & Plum Superfood Oil Blend. Here are some others.

The fruit of the Australian native Davdison plum is rich in flavonoids, vitamins, minerals and several other important secondary metabolites, such as anthocyanins as well as proanthocyanidins. We explain how that benefits dogs and why we include it in our supplements, especially for senior dogs.

Kakadu plum, Manuka honey, and sea kelp: these uniquely Australian superfoods play a key role. Kakadu plum has more than five times the antioxidant value of blueberries, and is super-rich in vitamins C, E and lutein. Sea kelp, hand-harvested on the Australian coast, isa potent source of iodine.

They combine with kale and wheatgrass, which is packed with chlorophyll, vitamins A, C, E, K, and B6, as well as minerals zinc, iron, selenium, and manganese.
